Job Description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Project management oversight for all departments within the plant

• Ensure production goals are met

• Ensure that products meet customer specifications as well as internal quality standards

• Select, train, and manage plant staff to work safely and productively

• Work with human resources on payroll, onboarding, and documentation management

• Ensure employees follow workplace rules and procedures

• Maintain open communication with direct reports, engineering, human resources, customer service and management.

• Maintain positive community and customer relationships

• Work closely with logistics partner to ensure that products are shipped on a timely basis

• Work with EHS to ensure that all environmental and safety policies are being observed

• Ensure that the plant and grounds are secure and that access is controlled

• Ensure that the plant, grounds and internal housekeeping is maintained and ready for inspection by visitors, customers or outside agencies.

• Oversee the switching of all rail cars by CSX or its subcontractors and ensure that the access gate is secured after moving cars

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, chemistry or related field

• 10 years related experience in manufacturing management

• Experience in the Chlor-Alkali industry preferred
