Responsibilities
As the Chief Nursing Officer, you will serve as the clinical leader of the facility, working closely with executive leadership, human resources, and senior nursing staff to enhance both employee and patient experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high-quality patient care standards.
Managing staffing ratios and working with senior nursing staff to improve care delivery.
Leading staffing initiatives, including training programs for new graduates and re-entry nurses.
Maintaining fiscal responsibility by managing budgets and controlling costs within the hospital.
Collaborating with respiratory and rehabilitation departments to drive excellence in patient care.
Fostering a positive, team-oriented culture where employees feel valued and supported.
Qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated nursing leader with a passion for high-quality patient care and staff development. The ideal candidate will have:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent healthcare-related master's degree required (or actively enrolled in a master's program).
Experience: At least 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience; 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure & Certifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification required, ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
Preferred Skills: Experience with ventilators, hemodynamics, critical drips, ET tubes, and wound care.
