Responsibilities

Responsible for the administration, coordination, and monitoring of claims benefits situations for multiple jurisdictions for injured employees. Recognize complex issues as they arise on claims, most likely litigated situations and sensitive claim matters. Mentors staff on claim techniques and matters. Calculates, assigns, and monitors reserves on claims to identify any risk trends by the staff. Documents and attends claim dispute conferences. Case management is performed at a moderate claim complexity level and authorized reserving value.

This position is is primarily remote. However, this indivdual must live within driving distance from the Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN campus for occasional onsite expectations. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 3 years experience in claims processing or medical field. Insurance industry related educational coursework or seminars encouraged.  Any state mandated licensure requirements.
