Our differences and uniqueness are celebrated and reflected in our wide range of Global Employee Networks. **Job Overview** Jensen Hughes is looking to hire college students for internships within our Fire Protection Engineering discipline across our locations in Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV. **Responsibilities** + Performs a variety of technical, both routine and moderately complex tasks that provide familiarity with programs, staff, and operating procedures. + Collaborate and work under the direction of engineers to support Code Consulting, Fire Protection engineering and/or Security design efforts. + Performs developmental assignments involving the application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks under close supervision. + Applies prescribed method to complete limited and specific portions of the broader assignment of an experienced engineer, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** + Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Chemical, or other related engineering field + At least two years of undergraduate schooling + Responsible self-starter with problem solving and reasoning skills + Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills to write reports, business correspondence, presentations and procedure manuals, and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the public + Passion for advancing the science of making our world safe, secure and resilient and exceeding our client expectations ***When applying, please make sure to indicate your desired locations as directed on the application.** \#LI-KS1 Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting and not a guarantee of compensation.
