What You'll Do The Part-Time Laundry Staff at Aspen Trace plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and resident clothing are washed, dried, and folded to the highest standards. The staff member will work closely with other team members to manage laundry schedules and ensure timely service for residents. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential, as the cleanliness of our laundry directly impacts the comfort and satisfaction of our residents. Ultimately, this role contributes to creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for all who live and work at Aspen Trace.
Job Responsibilities - Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in the distribution of clean linens and clothing to appropriate areas within the facility.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Our ideal candidate Minimum Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role.
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals.
Skills The required skills for this position include the ability to operate laundry machines and follow safety protocols, which are essential for daily operations. Attention to detail is crucial when sorting and folding laundry to ensure that all items are handled properly. Time management skills will be utilized to prioritize tasks and meet the laundry needs of the facility efficiently.
