Title: Palo Alto Network Security Engineer
Location: Onsite NYC or Boston (Hybrid flexibility may be considered)
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract-to-Hire
Rate: $ 60 - 70/hr
Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience working with Palo Alto Networks firewalls in complex enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of network security architecture , including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure access.
Experience with Panorama , GlobalProtect , and next-gen firewall features.
Familiarity with scripting (Python/Bash) and automation tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of layer 2/3 networking (routing, switching, subnetting).
Preferred: Experience supporting network infrastructure in financial services or trading environments .
Industry certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, or CISSP are highly desirable.
