Description We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations and planning efforts. This leadership role will oversee critical financial functions, including budgeting, auditing, and process optimization, to ensure organizational success. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting systems, financial services, and compliance. This role is hybrid in Emeryville. Responsibilities: + Drive the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans to support business growth and scalability. + Improve and streamline financial systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making accuracy. + Prepare and deliver financial insights and presentations for executives and board members to support strategic discussions. + Create and execute capital strategies for both debt and equity financing to ensure optimal use of financial resources. + Build and maintain clear, actionable financial models to support both day-to-day operations and long-term planning. + Manage cash flow, investment activities, and debt obligations to sustain financial stability and support growth. + Partner with Investor Relations to shape financial messaging and support external communications with stakeholders. + Recruit, lead, and develop a skilled finance team focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred + CPA or CFA certification is a plus + 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience, ideally in high-growth or fast-paced environments + Strong background in FP& A, treasury, and capital markets + Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills + Proven success in building and scaling finance teams, systems, and processes + Skilled in partnering with Investor Relations and supporting external financial communications + Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership + Comfortable navigating dynamic, startup-like environments Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
