Stepan Koval was born on 18 July 1965 in Novomoskovsk, Ukraine. In 1993, he studied architecture at the Academi of Arts in Kiev. In 1998 he studied direction of animation films at the Theatrical institute in Kiev. Since 2006, he is the chief director at Novatorfilm.
Oleksandr Kolodii was born in Lviv on 6 July 1978. In 2000 he graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (on a biophysics specialty). After graduating, he worked as a videographer at the University in the Department of Journalism. He collaborated with the Lviv film studio Galichina Film, computer graphics specialist at the Ukrainian-German company “Prosolis”, in an advertising agency BBDO.
